SAAS Junior Helmet Program

St Michaels College students Lachlan Slattery and Bailey Horsell receiving Helmets from Strikers player Sophie Devine

SACA in conjunction with Vodafone and the Adelaide Strikers have offered its Junior Helmet program to the Sports Association of Adelaide schools.
New compliant helmet recommendations have come into effect this season for all cricketers; SACA and Vodafone is helping South Australian junior’s by providing free helmets.
Through Vodafone’s sponsorship of the Adelaide Strikers, Vodafone is investing over $150,000 to donate over 2500 new junior helmets to the cricket communities across South Australia.
They have provided new compliant helmets made by the manufacturer Masuri – two per team for junior sides in the Sports Association competition.
These Helmets can be worn to ensure player safety and assist in easing the financial pressures on families and schools.
A great incentive and partnership to boost cricket at junior level in South Australia
